It does appear that the free ride that brands and companies have enjoyed on Facebook may be tapering off. Increasingly, the largest social networking site on the planet has been getting more businesses to sign up to Facebook ads and promoted posts. Great if you have a giant ad budget, but not so hot for a lot of SME’s who are facing strong economic headwinds coupled with continual rises in business rates (and other) charges.
