Customers Want Coupons

If your company sells to shoppers, the Marketing Blog suggests that today more than ever, what customers really want are cracking good deals. With austerity biting ever so deeper into the very bone of average disposable incomes, customer loyalty appears to be a thing of the past – with a survey of 1,000 customers (from Valassis) revealing that only 6% of customers indicating they would stay loyal to one company, if a competitor offered a better deal.

A key snippet revealed in the research is the propensity of the average shopper to save money through the use of coupons. 84% of people surveyed said they were planning to use coupons to reduce their holiday spend.
