Marketers Increasing Presence On Social, Mobile & Email Platforms

If you’re under any illusions about the continued strength of email marketing, then check out StrongMails research which states that a plump 89% of marketers surveyed planned to either increase or maintain their email marketing campaign budget (reported on at MarketingLand) . Over half will be looking to increase their email marketing spend over 2013, with improving subscriber engagement cited as the biggest area they will focus on.

The trend is somewhat similar for social media (52% will be increasing their social media budgets) and mobile (43%). Somewhat surprisingly, the survey discovered that by comparison only 40% will be spending more on their SEO search campaigns.
