GM Accuses European Car Slump For Fresh Job Cuts

Just days after Ford announced job cuts, General Motors has followed suit claiming that it needs to make £310m of fixed cost savings by 2015. The news was quickly featured by Sky News.

General Motors will close at least one of its Germany plants, and says more cuts are likely to follow within Europe as the company aims to stem its losses within Europe which are likely to reach £1.11 billion by the end of the year.
