Small Businesses Demand Tax Cuts In Autumn Statement

UK Chancellor George Osborne unveils his Autumn Statement today, and many small business owners would like to see tax cuts – particularly in light of the recent  scandal of huge global companies practicing widespread tax avoidance in the UK.

Research from Hilton-Baird Financial Solutions that was released about small business expectations for the Autumn Statement revealed 59% of small business owners want to see reductions in VAT, income tax and corporation tax. Also of concern to many small businesses surveyed was the difficulty in securing new finance, with only 34% claiming to have secured new funding over the past six months.
