The Autumn Statement delivered by George Osborne yesterday while grim in many aspects is set to benefit UK companies with a corporation tax cut as reported at the BBC. The new 21% rate is set to come in on April 2014, and small businesses are set to continue to benefit from the temporary doubling of the Small Business Rate relief which is extended by another year.
The rate cut makes the UK one of the lowest business tax environments among leading economies.
